We
offer a wide range of services for students but our main task is to organize presentations
on a regular basis. It is also important for us to invite speakers on technical
and economical topics. We seek to give students the possibility to meet representatives
of the industry during and after our events. Therefore company presentations are
very often are followed by interviews.
Membership-fee is EUR 10.00 per year to be a student member of our chapter. The
membership fees for the SPE can be completely sponsored by Chevron.

To keep contact and to have a place to meet outside of the lectures the Student Chapter arranges come-together-gigs such as one of the biggest events at the university campus – the famous OIL BBQ.

Moreover our members benefit from a lot of discounts (10% off on technical books),
technical literature in our library, a huge collection of some very rare publications
and preparation scrips for exams.
